Resource Assessments: District Conservationist Administrative Areas
The Natural Resources Conservation Service in Nebraska is producing resource assessments on a District Conservationists (DC) Administrative Area to provide a natural resource snapshot and overview of each area. The DC Administrative Area assessments organize into one document information that local conservationists, landowners and others can use to: identify conservation opportunities and direct technical and financial resources to the appropriate areas. They provide a concise description of the areas’ natural resources, resource concerns, conservation needs, and ability to resolve natural resource issues. These profiles organize into one document what most local conservationists and landowners already know about their watersheds.
