The number at the intersection of rows and columns with the same land cover/use designation represents acres that did not change from 1992 to 1997. Reading to the right or left of this number are the acres that were lost to another cover/use by 1997. Reading up or down from this number are the acres that were gained from another cover/use by 1997.
