Foreign Volunteer Information

The Earth Team has benefited from the assistance of foreignTanzanian volunteer in the field volunteers; therefore Earth Team members need not be citizens of the United States; however, they should be citizens of allied countries. The International Programs Division provides leadership in coordinating all matters with foreign countries. All foreign visitors wishing to join the Earth Team must complete the Volunteer Interest and Placement Summary Form (NRCS-PER-002). The NRCS-PER-002 should be submitted to the National Earth Team office or their state volunteer coordinator for processing.

Page 2 of this form requests specific information which will be utilized by the International Programs Division to determine if it is appropriate for NRCS to accept the application.

If accepted, projects will be developed and tailored to the needs, capabilities and desires of the visitor. Once approval has been received from the International Programs Divisions, enrollment requirements are the same for citizens and non-citizens.
