The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is a voluntary program that provides financial and technical assistance to eligible agricultural producers who are willing to address priority environmental issues by implementing conservation practices. It is administered by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.

Regional Programs

NRCS New York has program opportunities using EQIP funding or EQIP authorities available in specific regions or watersheds of the state. Each regional opportunity addresses critical natural resource concerns that have been identified in the multi-state efforts.
