RC&D Area Planning and Implementation (NRCS-NEDC-000095)
Overview
The RC&D Area Planning and Implementation course provide an in-depth experience for participants to gain the knowledge and skills to develop and implement RC&D Area Plans. This 3-day course is organized around real world RC&D issues and needs. Participants will utilize case studies to develop and implement an RC&D Area Plan that includes practice with RC&D Area Planning and Evaluation, Federal role in working with non-profit RC&D Councils, Board Development, Operation and Control, and Marketing the Area Plan. Each of these skills are linked to a case study where participants will develop and implement an RC&D Area plan to achieve expected results.
Objectives
Upon Completion of this training, participants will be able to:

develop and install the planning process

tie non-profit operations to area plan

provide training for all board members

advise RC&D councils on proper operating procedures

advise RC&D councils on marketing procedures
Prerequisites
NEDC course RC&D Concepts or 3 years experience as an RC&D Coordinator.
