Overview
This course is designed to provide community based
organizations with an understanding of the RC&D delivery system. It
provides RC&D coordinators and others involved with the process, the
basic steps necessary to enhance rural development. These modules will
provide an understanding of the planning process, community character, and
responsibilities necessary for a successful RC&D Program.
Objectives
Upon completion of this training, participants will
be able to:
- discuss the roles, responsibilities and relationship
of the coordinator, council and partners
- explain the importance of the planning process
- state why local leadership drives the process
- list nonprofit management responsibilities
- describe basic funding strategies
