The National Conservation Delivery Streamlining Initiative, initiated in January 2009, is implementing five key strategies designed to:
Simplify Conservation Delivery – for both customers and employees.
Streamline Business Processes – to increase efficiency and integration across business lines.
Ensure Science-based Assistance – to reinforce the continued delivery of technically-sound products and services.
To formally define, streamline, and integrate conservation assistance processes across Agency business lines.
To deploy information technology that more efficiently and effectively supports conservation assistance.
To provide planners & technical staffs with science, data, and tools which are focused to support conservation planning and application.
To provide programs through alternative staffing & delivery approaches designed around more efficient, client-focused business processes.
To implement new processes for interacting with clients that are natural resource-focused, enhance service, and increase efficiency.
