Farm Service Agency Agenda
  1. As of October 1, 2013 CRP is not authorized because a farm bill has not been passed.
  2. CRP Continuous Signup 44, was authorized from May 13 through September 30, 2013. During that time period, the following acres were enrolled:
    • Regular Continuous Signup: Not Available Yet
    • Highly Erodible Land Initiative (HELI): 7,505 contracts and 11,235 acres
    • State Acres for Wildlife (SAFE)
      • Prairie Pothole for Ducks: 6,945 acres
      • Pheasants Winter Cover: 8,748 acres
    • Sage Grouse/Brush: 1,620 acres are available but cannot be enrolled until CRP is re-authorized.
  3. Update on request for additional acres for CP37, Duck Nesting Habitat.
    • Request sent to National Office on June 18, 2013 for an additional 20,000 acres.
