The Farm Bill includes other programs that improve how NRCS delivers conservation to farmers and ranchers.

Agriculture Conservation Experienced Services (ACES)

ACES provides experienced workers, age 55 and over, to help NRCS employees provide technical services in support of conservation. More on ACES.

Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG)

Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) are competitive grants that stimulate the development and adoption of innovative approaches and technologies for conservation on agricultural lands. More on CIG.

Technical Service Providers (TSPs)

TSPs are individuals, private businesses, nonprofit organizations, and public agencies certified to work with NRCS to help agricultural producers plan and apply conservation practices on the land. More on TSPs.

Voluntary Public Access and Habitat Incentive Program

 

The Voluntary Public Access and Habitat Incentive Program (VPA-HIP) is a competitive grants program that helps states and Indian tribes increase public access to private lands for wildlife-dependent recreation, such as hunting, fishing or hiking. More on VPA_HIP.
