Subject: TCH – Section IV of eFOTG

Purpose. Announcing revisions to Section IV – Conservation Practices of eFOTG.

Expiration Date. September 30, 2013

Background. National policy requires States to revise Conservation Practice Standards within one year of any revisions or additions to the National Conservation Practice Standard Templates.

Explanation. The following NRCS Conservation Practice Standards and various documents have been revised and are located in Section IV – Conservation Practices of eFOTG:

Upland Wildlife Habitat Management – Code 645 – Conservation Practice Standard, Specification Guide Sheet, Job Sheet, Statement of Work, Operation and Maintenance and Maine Conservation Practice Job Sheet for Brush Piles (Code 645 & Code 647) documents, dated December 2012

Wetland Wildlife Habitat Management – Code 644 – Conservation Practice Standard, Specification Guide Sheet, Job Sheet, Statement of Work, and Operation and Maintenance documents, dated December 2012

To integrate new science, the following documents have been revised and are located in Section IV – Conservation Practices of eFOTG:

Early Successional Habitat Development Management Specification Guide Sheet – Code 647, dated December 2012

Maine Conservation Practice Job Sheet for Brush Piles (Code 645 & Code 647), dated December 2012
