Maine Bulletin No. ME 190-13-1

                                                                                                             December 12, 2012

Subject: ECS – Canada Lynx Practice Effect Matrix Update for Fiscal Year 2013

Purpose. To announce revisions to the “Maine NRCS Practices Effects on the Federally Threatened Canada Lynx and Designated Critical Habitat” document.

Expiration Date. September 30, 2013

NRCS routinely adds, deletes or changes the conservation practice standards and the matrix document periodically needs revision to account for these changes. Narratives on use of the matrix (e.g., Effect Determination, Footnotes, Glossary) are modified to improve clarity.

Planners will begin to use the revised matrix, “Maine NRCS Practices Effects on the Federally Threatened Canada Lynx and Designated Critical Habitat” document dated December 2012. This revised matrix is located in eFOTG under Section II – D. Threatened and Endangered Species – Conservation Planning.
