The AA/PI Manager advises the state conservationist, serves on the NRCS Louisiana Civil Rights Advisory Committee, and conducts a special emphasis program which:
Promotes fair and equitable treatment to the Asian American/Pacific Island (AA/PI) employees in our workforce;
Assists in ensuring that the general population of Asian American and Pacific Islanders are informed of our services and programs.
Assists in recruiting qualified Asian American and Pacific Island people into our agency.

Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Poster
Every May, Asian American/Pacific Islander (AA/PI) Heritage Month is observed throughout America. The national theme for AA/PI History Month 2013 is “Building Leadership: Embrace the Cultural Values and Inclusion.”
