NRCS Names Summer Students

Natural Resources Conservation Service Names Summer Students

Salina, Kansas, June 11, 2012�Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) named 17 students as part of the 2012 Student Educational Employment Program. The students will be trained to assist NRCS staff with planning and implementing conservation programs and using ecological and engineering practices in Kansas area and field offices. NRCS administers Farm Bill programs and provides conservation technical assistance to enable farmers and ranchers to be good stewards of the Nation’s soil, water, and related natural resources on private lands.

The 17 students, in alphabetical order by last name, followed by school, hometown, and (in parentheses) field office (FO) or area office (AO) in which they are assigned:
