SUBJECT:  Agricultural Waste Management Field Handbook

Purpose:  Transmits procedures, examples and worksheets for designing constructed wetlands for the secondary treatment of agricultural wastes.

Expiration Date:  September 30, 1995

Explanation: Procedures for designing constructed wetlands for treating agricultural wastes were contained in Bulletin 210-1-7, dated August, 1991. All wetlands designed by this procedure and under Interim Standard and Specification IL-999 should be approved by the State Conservation Engineer.
