SUBJECT:  ENG – National Engineering Handbook (NEH), Part 650, Engineering Field Handbook (EFH)

Purpose:  To announce the availability of the new EFH Chapter 8 – Terraces

Expiration Date:  Upon receipt.

Explanation: The National NRCS office has significantly updated EFH Chapter 8 – Terraces. The EFH can be viewed and printed at the eDirectives website – http://directives.sc.egov.usda.gov/ under Handbooks --> Title 210 Engineering --> National Engineering Handbook --> Part 650 Engineering Field Handbook.

Filing Instructions: Holders of hardcopy Engineering Field Handbook binders should:
  1. Print out the updated version of EFH Chapter 8 from the eDirectives website and file in their EFH binder.
  2. Retain the existing Illinois supplements from Chapter 8 and file at the end of the new Chapter 8.
  3. Discard or archive old version of EFH Chapter 8.
