The Federal Women’s Program (FWP) is a special emphasis program within the Equal Opportunity Program of the federal government. The FWP was established in 1967 to enhance employment and advancement of women. The program provides a forum for all Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) employees in Illinois. Although the program focuses on women, the information disseminated and items discussed pertain to employment issues that interest and help all employees regardless of gender.
Earth Care Connection - Earth Care Connection focuses on networking, mentoring, training, and leadership development for women in conservation. Federally Employed Women - FEW is an organization formed to advocate for equal employment rights for women employed by the Federal Government. Foundation for Women's Resources - celebrates, educates and connects women of diverse gifts by gathering resources to extend our strengths to a broader public. National Council of Negro Women, Inc. - non-profit, membership organization dedicated to improving the lives of African American women, their families and communities. Women in Development - volunteer organization of professionals actively committed to advancing women's roles in social, economic, and political development.
