Wetlands Reserve Enhancement Program (WREP)
General WREP is a component of the Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP) through which NRCS enters into agreements with eligible partners to target and leverage resources to carry out high-priority wetlands protection, restoration, and enhancement activities and improve wildlife habitat on eligible lands.

NRCS is not accepting proposals for General Wetlands Reserve Enhancement Program (General WREP). Applications for FY 2012 must be received by February 10, 2012.
Who May Apply
Only States, local units of government, Indian Tribes and non-governmental organizations are eligible to submit a proposal and enter into agreements with NRCS. WREP partners are required to contribute matching financial or technical assistance.
Where to Apply
Partners must submit proposals to the State Conservationist(s) by February 10, 2012 through the appropriate contact. To apply for projects within Idaho, one copy of the application proposal should be electronically sent to Clinton.Evans@id.usda.gov along with two paper copies to Natural Resources Conservation Service, 9173 W. Barnes Drive, Suite C, Boise, Idaho 83709 - Attention Clint Evans.
