Partnerships expand the reach and depth of conservation on the land. Individually the federal, state and nonprofit groups that comprise our conservation partnerships have a diversity of expertise in discipline, location/area and focus. These groups share their unique areas of expertise to put more conservation on the land. Florida Soil and Water Conservation Districts are local units of government with the role to increase voluntary conservation practices among farmers, ranchers and other land users. The National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) is the national organization for local conservation districts across the country. The Florida Grazing Lands Coalition is a producer-led effort to enhance the management and health of private grazing lands. For national information go to the Grazing Land Conservation Initiative (GLCI).
