Earth Team Volunteer Bob Purcell recently worked with the Norwich Field Office staff to complete survey points for a Lebanon dairy farm project.
On July's hottest day (98o/70o dew point) Purcell worked to gather cross-section elevations for the design of a grazing system animal walkway.
Soil Conservationist Tim Pindell - the planner for the project - marveled at how Purcell was able to keep going with muddy boots and pants, and a trek through a patch of 7 Minute Itch - all without complaint.
"Bob was instrumental in helping me complete the design-survey, "said Pindell. "The client is ready to begin construction now, this shows the Earth Team Volunteer Program is a great way to complete the work on time."
