NRCS/FSA Food Drive for Limestone County

As the summer wanes and we get more into our fall schedules, it is always good to remember those in need of food.
In a collaborative effort, NRCS and FSA particitated to help replenish the local food pantry. The pantry works through local church groups (Limestone County Church’s Involved) to distribute to families as needed.
Together 230 lbs. of non-perishable items were donated for the needy.
The staff of Limestone County f NRCS/SWCD/FSA feel this is a great cause.
They welcome future client participation for this worthwhile effort to help feed our local community in need.
