Public Invited to Comment on Fisheating Creek Wetlands Restoration
Gainesville, FL., May 28, 2014– The Natural Resources Conservation Service invites public comment until June 17 on the proposed wetland restoration of 34,000-acres of ranchland in Fisheating Creek watershed located in Highlands County between Sebring, Fla., and State Road 70.
The Draft Environmental Assessment analyzes the impacts of the restoration activities and alternatives.
