SITES

SITES is the Water Resources Site Analysis Computer Program.

The SITES computer program assists the design engineer in the hydraulic and hydrologic analyses of dams.  SITES allows the user to easily test alternative spillway sizes to provide satisfactory proportioning of flood storage and outflow for the safety of the structure.  The program incorporates the erosion technology developed by the USDA-ARS for the integrity and stability of earth spillways.  SITES supports complex watersheds with upstream structures, sub-watersheds, and channel reaches.
