June 22-27, 2009, is National Pollinator Week when many activities are being held across the Nation to bring attention to the importance of pollination and the animals involved in sustaining the nation's ecosystems.  Many NRCS offices and partners are sponsoring or participating in these events.

The 2009 North American Pollinator Protection Campaign pollinator poster, Pollination Equation has been very popular so we have initiated a reprinting that should be available during Pollinator Week.  To get your copy when they are available, call 1-888-LANDCARE and select #2 from the recorded message or email your request to LANDCARE.

Other outstanding resources for events during National Pollinator Week are available at the Pollinator Sponsor Kit Web site. We hope everyone has successful awareness-building events during National Pollinator Week.
