NRCS staff from NHQ and Indiana recently exhibited at the national FFA Convention and Career Show in Indianapolis, Indiana.  An estimated 55,000 FFA students, parents, advisors and others attended the Career Show and other events at the Indiana Convention Center where NRCS staff answered questions about the agency and careers with NRCS as well as distributing hundreds of informational posters and brochures.  The National FFA Convention is the third largest in the U.S. with the Republican and Democratic National conventions holding first and second place.

USDA Deputy Under Secretary for Natural Resources and Environment Gary Mast and Indiana State Conservationist Jane Hardisty participated in the event that featured more than 250 exhibitors including several other USDA agencies.
