NRCS to Exhibit on the National Mall

NRCS will participate in Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) activities to be held on the National Mall, May 10-13, 2007.  The event, celebrated the first Monday through Sunday in May since 1985, is a yearly opportunity to recognize the good work of public servants and to honor the men and women who serve America as Federal, State and local government employees.

Sponsored by the Public Employees Roundtable at the Council for Excellence in Government, (PSRW) has received the support of the President, members of Congress, and officials from various levels of State and local government.

Over the course of four days on the National Mall, (between 4th and 7th Streets), more than 60 government offices and agencies, non-profit organizations, and private companies will sponsor interactive and educational exhibits that showcase the innovation and quality work performed by public employees.
