NRCS Engineer Profiled in ASABE Engineering Careers Book

Minnesota NRCS hydraulic engineer Sonia Massell Jacobsen is presented with the 2001 NRCS Engineer of the Year award by NRCS Deputy Chief for Science and Technology Larry Clark

A new book, Changing Our World: True Stories of Women Engineers, features profiles of more than 200 women engineers including Minnesota NRCS hydraulic engineer Sonia Massell Jacobsen.  The article recognizes Sonia's agricultural engineering work in Honduras helping farmers recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Mitch in 1998.
