NRCS workforce. Download and watch this exciting presentation and hear
directly from the Chief, “Boot Camp” participants, and instructors. This
is not your everyday, standard MSPower Point!
(Note: the sound track is contained in a separate .wma audio file. When
you download, copy, or move the presentation, be sure to keep the PowerPoint
file (BootCamp.ppt) and the .wma audio file together in the same folder or the

Women Farmers and Ranchers Meet to Create Change
and Plant the Seeds for Future Work
The role of women in agriculture is the theme for a SARE-supported national
conference to be held October 21-23, in Burlington, Vermont. For conservation
technical assistance providers like NRCS conservationists, the 2-1/2-day
conference will provide an opportunity to learn about women’s unique
contributions to farming and ranching. And for NRCS presenters, it will provide
and opportunity to educate participants about NRCS
conservation technical assistance
and programs.

Putting
Down Roots in Nebraska
The NRCS Manhattan, Kansas, Plant Materials Center (PMC) and the National Park

local commercial seed vendors for the project.
