A Wetlands Reserve Program
(WRP) project site in Minnesota was the setting for the signing of a
memorandum of agreement (MOU) between NRCS and
Ducks Unlimited (DU), Inc. that will
establish a framework for cooperation to enhance and conserve the productivity of wetlands, uplands, grasslands, and other waterfowl and
wildlife habitats on private and public lands. Chief
Knight and Ducks Unlimited's Don Young signed the MOU this week at the Straight River Marsh WRP
project site on the David Seykora Farm in Owatonna, Minnesota.
