NRCS Mentoring Application Information

You must use the Online Application Tool to apply to NRCS Mentoring. The online application system will be open beginning June 2009

To access the Online Application Tool, click here.  There are separate applications for mentors and protégés – employees may complete either or both applications if they are interested (and eligible) in being both a mentor and a protégé.

Protégé Application

NRCS employees interested in participating in NRCS Mentoring as a protégé should fill out the Protégé Application. The application will collect the following information:

  • Demographic data

  • Experience/Skills

  • Education

  • Career/Mentoring Objectives

Employees interested in participating as protégés will need supervisory approval to apply. See the Protégé Application for more information. To access the Online Application Tool, click here.

Mentor Application

NRCS employees interested in participating in NRCS Mentoring as a mentor should fill out the Mentor Application. The application form will collect the following information:

  • Demographic data

  • Experience/Skills

  • Education

  • Interest Areas for Mentoring
