The National Cooperative Soil Survey provides technical and operational coordination. Workshops, meetings, and conferences are held discuss and resolve concerns and to make proposals and recommendations for the cooperative soil survey.
Activities relate to the technology used in the collection, management, and presentation of information about the properties, patterns, and responses of soils. The activities also relate to other joint concerns, such as training and coordinated research.
Regional Conferences
These conferences primarily discuss subjects of regional concern. Each region convenes a soil survey conference in even-numbered years.
