The Sentinel Landscapes Partnership between the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) promotes shared land use priorities and works to advance conservation outcomes in landscapes across the country.
The scenic landscape of XL Ranch Lightsey Cove will safeguard critical wildlife habitat and 20,00 feet of shoreline in the Northern Everglades.
“These new sentinel landscapes are a testament to the power of collaboration and partnership,” said USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service Chief Terry Cosby.
